| This doesn't grab me. I entered something similar in an earlier challenge and it bombed. I think that this is a much more difficult composition that we realize. It's a balance between blown-out highlights around the candle and the rest being too dark. |

| The glass is too smudgy and the light seems blown out. Nothing is in clear focus. |

| I wish the hot spot on the glass weren't quite as apparent, and that the glass were cleaner. |

| The ides was good, but I don't think it came out as good as you may have planned. The glass looks smudgy ( I had the same problem in one of my own photos ) and the lighting isn't really doing anything to enhance the subject. |

| candel light alone is not enough to illuminate an image. |

| The flame is blown, no colors or contrast. Fire is tough to capture. which lets down the rest of the shot, compsition and focus are good....5 |

| Wonderful shot of the flames itself. The glass seems to have some smudges on it, this takes away from the flame. I love the sea shells and etc, adds color and interest. Good overall image. 6 |
