The predominantly white composition seems to have made the camera underexpose slightly. Opening the aperture up a stop or two would have brought out the brillance of the white letting the colours stand out more and helped the effect of the shoes as a Jackson Pollock canvas you were after. I like this little study.

I like the shot very much. It says who you are in an abstract way. It only needs to be brightened somehow. Maybe in PS or better lighting. 9

I like how this picture is close up and doesn't have too much of a background. Some people have trouble with that and have distracting backgrounds. I like how the paint stands out on the white shoe. Nice job!

Great concept, but to pull it off, both shoes should have been in focus. Try getting directly over top of the subject when doing macro like this.

The crop is so close it took me a minute to figure out what this was. Cleaver however.
