Greetings from the Critique Club!!
At first glance, this photo captures your eye with the prismatic flare from the crystal on the shoe! It has a fun sense to it and makes you want to figure out where it came from. The composition is good as the shoes are laying in a way that appears as if they just were taken off and left there. The pearls just fell on them in a haphazard fashion, or so it seems, which adds to the illusion of the shot. The pearls seem a bit blurred to me. The black background does this justice, creating an almost no end to the shoes as to where one stops and the background starts. The lighting is effective especially on that "spark" of color in the center. Overall, I think it is a good capture, but maybe a little tweaking could be done to get the pearls to be perfectly focused. I like the originality of it and think you did a good job. Your imagination and creativity shined through on this one. Had this been advanced editing, I would have cloned out the labels on the inside. All the best, Judy |

I'd given this a 7! Surprised it didn't do better. |

Nice composition. Like the layout of the shoe. The sparkel on the tip of the top shoe is cool. Good Luck |

I like the sparkle on the toe, but there is too much haze around the pearls. |

Hey!! Did you use a star filter, or did you do the star in processing? Cool effect! Good luck ;-) |

crosshatch lighting effect is not to my tastes but is well executed. |

Great color in the lights. Overall a good picture. I would prefer to see a little sharper focuson the back of the shoe. I'm still learning how, so I can't say for sure what to do, except pull farther back for a better DOF. |

imo, the pearls distract from, rather than add to the picture |

Nice contrast. Sparkle was clever... how was it done? |

Nice shot- I like the spark at the toe. I wish the pearls were less blured, though. |

The colorful shine distracts me from the actual shoes. So maybe next time a little less shine.
I do like the originality |

Love it. The twinkle is so pretty and the angle of the shoes and pearls are awesome. |

love the sparkel not too fond of the pearls but they cast some interseting light too. 6 |

This picture is so elegant and fancy. I like how on the front of the shoes the light if refracted which causes the rainbow effect. I also like the position of the pearls and how they each have a shine in the center of them. |

How did you achieve that lens flare with basic editing? WOW |
