thanks to everybody for comment. I found these shoes three weeks ago, and I came back there when this challenge began.
I didn't want to crop because the distance to ground is justifying the title. |

Well shot. The color works well and the white and back details really add to the photo. I know it seems annoying to pay so much attention to the rule of thirds, but in this case, the white pipes IMHO woud balance the photo better if they were a bit more to the left... |

I like the shot but don't see the connection to Shoes |

The shoes should be sharper focused, and you could remove the wires and cables since this would pace the shoes up in a more comfortable position Think rule of thirds. Nicely spotted and chosen image though. |

Too much red, too central, more impact from putting the shoes nearer an edge |

move in closer next time or throw them over a powerline. |

I find your "hung" shoes shot more interesting than the multiple of others because of the color of the building, and the strong sense of the cross shape...I wonder if that was intentional or accidental? Either way - I like it. |

think different cropping would help |

i love the colors and the lighting..but the shoes are really hard to see. a tighter crop (still including the white stripes and wires) would have made it better. this would have been awesome for the "minimalism" challenge |

I probably would have tightend up on the cropping, lost some of the top, maybe shot from a lower level using a wide angle to exaggerate the height. |

Neat shot. It would really add interest/story line (IMO) and give a sense of scale if you had a little kid jumping to try and reach them too. |

The shoes are so tiny in this picture that I hardly noticed them. I like ethe coloring and how they stand out against the red background |

subject too small in frame |

Tighter crop would have helped. |

I don't quite know what to say about this one, except that the subject matter, the shoes, is almost lost due to the size of the photo. But you couldn't crop it without loosing the context... somehow I just don't think that this photo, while a good shot, was right for this format. |
