The best of the still life pictures. The angle of view was well chosen, the depth of field and point of focus were spot on and the monochrome treatment well handled. 9. Bumped to 10 |

This wouldn't do you much good as advertising, but I like it a lot for this challenge. We get to see enough to know what we're looking at, but the soft focus gives them some mystique, too. |

A little too soft--looks washed out. Nice anlge, though. Lighting was good. |

Of course this is just my opinion so just take it like that but I have never ever understood why soft focus was so popular a decade ago, I just don´t like that style. However, this is not a bad choice for a soft focus shot if you neccesarily have to do one but I would probably have rated this higher if it had been pristine sharp... |

Effective use of DOF and light/shadow to create more than the subject normally offers. |

Too soft for me and not enough DOF. I think had you gotten the entire heel in focus and at a bit more less of an angle this would have worked better for me. |
