I tend to agree with the previous comment, but think that this one could be improved by some selective burning/dodging and adjusting the color sat/contrast a bit. It's a beautiful setting and an extremely picturesque landscape. You've already scoped out a great shooting spot too. Would love to see this with some deeper richer tones and slightly later in the day. Great eye for spotting this. |

Sometimes shooting into the sun for sunset shots can be tough. In this case, I feel like it was still to bright to take an effective picture. This scene had a lot of potential, but b/c of the brightness of the sun, you lose more details to catch that cool reflection of the clouds on the river. Good composition and setup, just a little too early in the afternoon. Were you able to take any shots when the sun was behind the clouds? |
