 I took the background picture first, then put it full screen on my monitor. I wanted it to look surreal. I held my hand in front of the monitor holding the jack cable. I used a small flashlight in my hand to create the light effect. The pic looks 3D, but other than my hand and cable, the background is flat on the screen. :)

Excellent shot - i would have hued the magenta color into a dark blue or something, but that's ok - solid 8 for composition, color and lighting.

Very interesting concept. Just the quality of the image that a bit puts me off. It might be the trade off when you played with the colour too much, I guess

Gee there's a lot of circuit-board shots in this challenge, and a lot of green shots. This is in the top half - but the high contrast is bugging me, and it took a while t see the jack. Actually it looks more blue than green now ... :-)

Great lighting. How was this accomplished? I think the purple light in the hand doesn't quite seem to fit but excellent result anyway.

Great Photo, but i feel like the hand is becoming a black obstruction off to the left, maybe cropping it in would've helped a little. still a 9.

That doesn't look like a 1/4" stereo jack to me... :P
