 Driving from El Paso TX to Artesia NM. What I wouldn't give for a real camera...

Love the clouds in this shot and the way you can see their shadows on the ground in the distance. You could really make this image pop with a little post processing. IMO, if you were to crop the right side so that the largest building visible moved away from being directly in the center, then did a little adjustment with brightness, contrast and levels to enhance the light and shadows, it might bring it closer to the way that it looked in person.

Wow - this re-defines the statement "living out in the middle of nowhere"!
If you ever get the chnce to re-shoot with a real camera as you say, I would try for a day where the sky has smaller clouds though as they seem to over power the image here.

Very neat shot. Town is almost drowned out from the vastness around it. Almost? Heck it is! Good capture. I would even like it more if the town was centered to the right some more.

I love this picture, and yet the camera in no way came close to capturing the real life view of the New Mexico desert.
