hey there from the CC Club ...
interesting theme and composition for the matrix challenge ... the lighting is kinda harsh on the coins which blows out the detail in the metal ... but the placement of the sunglasses does cut the image in thirds which is easy on the eyes. the paper money background is a nice touch with the image ... gives it a soft feel - maybe to show innocence and maybe even gullability (sp?) to the general public of those who dont know of the matrix? i dunno .. i'm kinda going off subject .. but over all it's a nice interpretation ... great job .. |

I haven't seen the movie, so I can't comment on theme, but this is a great macro shot anoyway, well composed too. |

Lighting lighting lighting. So harsh on the 50p, and the 20p behind the shades. The focus seems OK in most areas, but there's a feeling of having lost a lot of detail - probably because the amount of light doesn't let it show: shadows are not something to be eliminated, they're to be used. |

Hmm, yes. Good point! I expect the film will make more $$'s than ££'s, but it's nice to see good old British cynicism shining through the hype :) |
