 One Egg on top of a black table, used a black bookshelf layer behind the egg.

For lighting, i used a neutral daylight desklamp with my midterm covering it for diffused light. (about 45 degree angle)

on the other side, i took a folded sheet of paper and balanced out the shadows while the MLU was activated. out of about, 20 shots or so, this one came out the most reasonable. I underexposed by a 1 stop I think

um, eggs aren't dairy. Sure you got that alot already. This needs more sharpness and texture, lighting is good.

I really like the idea, but the presentation appears somewhat poor. On my screen, only the very center of the egg has any detail. The top is completely blown out.

good egg shot. the focus seems a little soft, and there's a blown-out spot that bothers me. overall, nice image. eggs aren't dairy, by the way.

The lighting doesn't work for me here. The top looks blown out on my monitor, and the bottom is very dark. I would try softer lighting next time.

Did I miss something...how is this dairy? Focus is soft...voted low because it does not meet the challenge...unless a cow laid this egg!
