I love how this image tells a story. The desat is very effective. I like that natural feel and how the model is looking at the camera.
P.S. I think it should have scored much higher. I gave it a 7.

Thanks for a natural looking model and expression. Only problem is the hair across her face, but that actually makes the expression look more natural. |

It looks like you went a little overboard on the USM; otherwise this was nicely executed. |

IMO you were a little heavy handed with the blur, but otherwise an excellent image. Treat for adam? Good work. |

I like the desaturation of this image. The soft diffused look works fairly well here but seems noticeably less on her face. |

Great shot..don't like the apple idea personally(seems forced), but hey it is a clear choice..the shot itself is well done, nicely processed..solid work. |

Tones very well done. Like the softness where appropriate. Something winky in the bottom right. Would have liked slightly more crop on the left, less crop on the bottom. POV, DOF well done. Like the lighting on hand that draws eye to apple. |

Probably just being picky, but given the title of the photo, I would have liked to see the apple sharper.... Maybe even play with the contrast a bit to get her body to seperate more from the background. Good Luck! |

Terrific DOF that separates the subject from the background without making her *feel* separate from it. Makes me think of a wood nymph. Lovely softness, and nice color treatment. The only thing that throws me here is the expression on her face. I would have expected a softer, more engaged expression. Overall though, very lovely. |

The skin looks a little over-processed. I like the dof and focus. The pose and expression seem a little forced. A tight crop next to right up to the apple-bearing hand might really set this photo off. Overall, a nice image - good luck! |

I'm sorry, I just don't quite get this one.... I'm guessing you're going for an even in the garden type image.... If so, a different title may have been more appropriate. I like the image as a whole.... The lighting is great. The pose is a little unsettling in that the model looks very..... disconnected?.... Something in the eyes just doesn't quite click. I can't quite put my finger on it. Overall a great capture, just too many mixed metaphors or something. Maybe I'm just being over analytical. |

This shot makes me feel uneasy, first, your model doesn't look real. I know the likelyhood of it being fake is extremely low, but she just doesn't look real. If she is real, you might want to turn down the neat image a bit. I think the background also shows signs of being overly processed. Last, I think the model's pose seems completely uncomfortable. A more relaxed pose even with just the models left arm, might bring the score up quite a bit. |

while techically this is a fine image, there is something lacking. Pregancy is a beautiful thing, and i can't help but get the feeling that that element of the image was pushed asside a litte. I will try to explain. The focus and attention is on the models face, and the apple, while the belly seems in a soft focus. It is almost as though the image is of eve and she just happens to be pregant rather than of a beautiful woman with child, that happens to be making a biblical referance. I would have liked to have seen the child within have equal billing to the mothers face - or at least more so than the apple. I hope this made sense (i doubt it did) and blessing for the baby. |

Her hair and eyes look nice, but when I look at the rest of the picture, she looks like something created in poser. I like the idea that the photographer cared enough to post process this so that any flaws were masked, however, by doing that, she has become something not real, at least to me. Thinking about it, the processing might be a way to create distance between the viewer and the model. |

I like the outdoorsie shots a lot, the only thing I don't like about this is being cut off right at the waist, or any other joint...that always bothers me. Otherwise, there are some very nice tonal qualities to this image, ans well a very sharp focus on the apple, and a slightly softer focus on the model it seems, which is good.<6> |

Not feeling good with her expression - a simple, warm smile would do a lot for this. The focus on her face is certainly sharp though. Brave woman - my wife is 5 months preg and she refused to let me take one. :( Good luck on the challenge (the DPC Challenge AND the parenthood challenge!) |

I like how the blurred background effectively seperates the subject (though is some of the blurring from post-processing?). Good focus and lighting too. |
