Yet another "throw something into a fluid" photograph.
This is my second photograph for dpc!
I took a dish full of milk, positioned a halogen light and started to throw pieces of cheese into the dish. It was a great mess, but also a lot of fun. It took 5 attempts to get this one.
Hope to meet the challenge better than my attempt in "live music".

Hue, saturation, contrast, sharpen, cropping.

Nice Idea! the splash was repeated a little too much!

I love these type of shots, though I think this is a little too blurry.

There were too many of these kinds of pictures. It was intresting the first couple times. I like smoothness though.

For some reason this picture makes me squirm, it looks kind of like the gaping mouth of one of those sandworms in Beetlejuice, or possibly something naughty. Very interesting capture and excellent texture/motion. Can't decide if I want to turn away or keep staring at it :)

Looking for 3 things in a "milk splash" picture...1) Is the object in focus? (no) Is the splash well frozen (mostly) and 3) is the splash defined against the background (yes). There appears to be a cast to your milk though which takes away from the picture. 6

A bit more in focus and a bit more contrast and less harsh shadows and this would have scored higher for me.

IMHO the crop is way to tight, should have shown the whole splash. And what is that in the milk? 6

I wish the splash were more clear. This seems a bit blurred and hard to distinguish for me.
