Nice exposure and details, but not convinced this meets the spirit of the challenge. |

the background is kinda distracting. A good take on the challenge, though not sure it really captures the real theme of the topic. |

I thought simply depicting a work of art was not legal for challenge entries?? Especially when there's no original twist to the photo, like original lighting or something...?
This could be straight out of an auction catalog, that's the kind of challenge, IMHO, that it would make sense for.
Am recommending this for DQ.

The lighting is nice, but I thought you couldn't take photos of existing art work. I think the center crop throws it off a little for me. I think it should be off centered. Rule of thirds. |

Why do I feel a debate coming on about this shot?
Highlights are blown out. Focus is OK, but there is nothing special about the image. 5 |

Lighting & such are good, but when I see how others have tackled this challenge, I feel obliged to give them extra points for courage. 4 |

Beautiful lighting. Looks perfect . Gave you a 9. Would have gave it a ten if your models were real. You should try it. |

This is a photo of someone else's work of art. It's well shot, but . . . |

IMHO not very original and the medal has a lot of blown highlight areas. 4 |

Not sure how legal this one is.... lacks originality |

I will truly be surprised if this does not get disqualified. I'm not reccomending it by any means. Hopefully for your sake, I'm wrong.
I think this is great documentation of the coin? or plate, whatever it is. It shows all of the quality, as well as the flaws in the metal. But it just makes me say, yep, it's a bronze plate, great. |

the lighting, dof, and focus are very nice. It looks like the crop may not be even on all sides. |

Considered this a cop out shot. I don't understand why you submitted this. |

I think this image misses the spirit of the challenge. |

i see this more as a study of a coin rather than a human body. |

my guess is you will be DQ'ed for a literal representation of another piece of art. |

I see we are testing the "Literal Artwork" rule. Good luck. :) |
