| Nice eye for finding contrasting colors in a natural setting. I love the expression of the boy! Lighting seems just a bit harsh. The lake would appear greener, perhaps, when the sun is lower. |

This boy looks very proud of being the captain of this vessel ;o)
I like the clarity of this shot. Litteraly, you met the challenge by adding the grass on the foreground. Unfortunally, this is imho the weak aspect of this image. (in terms of composition, I mean). Also: the main point of interest of this shot is the boy, and not the color combination. Further on, I wouldn't have cropped the boat on the right side, and wouldn't have put the boy in the middle of the composition.

| Interesting foto and love the boys expression, and while this foto does meet the challenge, I do not feel it is a great example, as the green nor the red has helped to make the other colour stand out. |

| Inasmuch as this is presumably a staged photo, I must compliment you on one of the more natural-seeming snapshots, that is, it feels like you just happened to find something that fit the topic criteria without needing to elaborately stage a setting. I do like photography-as-art, but I also like clever use of casual snapshots. |

| The colours are in the shot, but not really much to do with the shot. This is a picture about a boy in a boat, not complementary colours really. The dead center framing adds to this feeling. |

| I wish we could see a little more green here. Overall, kind of looks like a snapshot more than anything. |

| interesting shot... the complementary color theme is here, but could possibly be stronger.. maybe creating a composition where there is more grass in the view would enhance the challenge theme some... = 5 |
