Nice and crispy fishy. You got him perfectly. Did he kiss your lens? |

Yes, the fish looks cool. Focus and DOF is good, too, however, there is dirt on the background (aquarium glass?) and the fish melts a bit into the light-colored gravel. What color is your fish in real life, would that have been better? In any case, I know how difficult aquarium photography is (I never manage to get a single good shot, so high points anyway). |

Yes, you do. Out in the world you could clean up those specks at UR. Maybe darken up his spots a little. Great composition, light and focus control. |

This is a really well photographed fish, and those spots look very cool in black and white. |

i dont care that only the front of this fish is in focus or that there are spots on the aquarium glass. I think this an AWESOME picture. |

This is one of my favorites this week... excellent shot! I see two possible improvement opportunities on this photo... 1) get the dust specs of the glass on the right side of the frame... 2) possibly use a vertical crop to cut the right side of the frame off just to the right of the fish's eye behind the first gill... GREAT SHOT! |

Good contrast on the fish and with the background. good dof. The flecks on the glass are a little distracting. But then again, this might have been beyond your control. |

I didn't like this as a thumbnail. The larger photo is much better. If I wanted to take the time, I would have touched up the litter in the water. It looks like dust or scratches and detracts from the subject. But overall I like it. |

I have never seen a fish like this one before. You captured it well. A 9 coming your way!! |

Nice shot, would of got a big 9 off me if not for the flecks on the glass. Hope ya don't mind but I put this photo on PS Elements and cleaned it up(I know you can't do that for this) and it makes a super photo. Clean it up and enter it in another competition and you'll do well. good luck:-) |
