Just wanted to say thanks for all the comments and the favorites. Two more comments and it would've been the highest I'd ever gotten during a challenge. :-)

You wouldn't believe how many different versions of this shot I had done, well some of you might. ;-) In the end I was happy with my decision. The face was very shadowed so I had to do quite a bit of work to it which is why it looks so different from his legs and arms. And the umbrella gave it a slightly blue cast. And looking at it now I maybe could have desat'ed the greens a tad. But overall, very happy. Thanks again everyone. And thanks to my helpful friend with the ever encouraging support and advice! ;-)

I love the angle on this. You have done an excellent job on this all the way around. Don't beat yourself up about the green I think it looks wonderful.

too much burnign IMHO. the kids right leg is oversaturated and so are his arms compared to the rest of his body... the tilt of the camera adds a fanciful respite from the usual straight on images... a fun shot overall... 7

Nice vibrant colors and I think the angle works. Something about the processing around the child's face is a distraction though.

Good contrast, strong composition, colour, exposure. I like it, but couldn't go overboard about it. Solid work.

very cute! contrast seems a little too harsh-can't believe I am saying that because all of MY pictures are like that! I like the bright colors, but because of the contrast his legs and arms look too dark.

Very nice colour & composition. I think this shot would be improved if it were taken from a lower angle, and the green desaturated a bit. Nice shot!

LOVE this...this is my fav so far. i really, really hope you win a ribbon for this. what i love about this is the relection of the lad in the puddle, and your saturation is wonderful! way to go! 10!

I really like the position of the umbrella in the frame...reminds me of how kids always draw the sun in the corner....great work.
