 for those who don't know "die toten hosen" (in English "the dead trousers" ;D : it's a german punkband since 1982, so they are already age-old-punks,but they still make good music.:D

I photographed this from a bridge,that was full of people at least.So i had to use the full zoom (340 mm) to get the stage as close as possible.
i had a hard battle with myself what pic i should submit, but then i decided to take this because of the great lighting and quality.i made pics with a better atmosphere where you can see all the fans but the quality was not so good because i used a little bit digital zoom know i know that was a mistake ;(, but hey...)

I know I have harped on headroom but this image conveys more the feel of the concert. There are always exceptions to the rule.

Although only a slight suggestion of the musicians, the colors carry the mood. Bumping up.

The view is too general into my liking. Something more close-up would have worked better (for this challenge). Good capture anyway.

I do like the stage lighting in this picture. Nice colors. Would have been a better picture, though, if you could have been standing closer to the stage to see the band better.

You could have tried to zoom closer to the band and got a poor grainy photo but you didn't. Congrats. You made the right choice and got an excellent shot of the lighting and background. Awesome.

An interesting photo if you're a stage designer or lighting engineer, not quite so effective if you're interested in musicians. I see the audience have their hands in the air, I'd have made more of this.
