Thanks for your comments and voting. The reason I didn't take the picture from the front of the first car was that there was a 50 star American flag sticker on the front windshield. I wanted to keep the old time theme so I took the photograph that way. |

I would have given it some sepia tone to make it look like an older photo |

Great application of black and white. |

Nice tones, and tack sharp. I'd like to see the grille of the lead car for a more balanced composition, but that may not have been possible. |

Appropriate subject matter!!! Nice capture, don't change a thing. Sorry, but I have no constructive remarks. (I like the hat!) Photo 10 Creativity 8 B&W 9 total 9 |

Good DOF ... lose a little detail in the highlights (road -- don't care about tops of cars). |

Great detail and tonal range. I love the angle too :) |

Perfect usage for b&W (IMO) If I had to change anything, would be that hot spot in the gravel to left of cars. but the lighting on the cars is really nice. like the hat in the back seat too. :) good job. |

This works so well because *everything* was in black and white back then, right? |

Excellent subject matter for black and white. A neat thing would be to have it a little out of focus, or not quite so sharp so that it would like an old photograph. Having said that, I also know why you wouldn't do anything like that for the challenge, it's just a though. My only real suggestion, then, would be to either crop some off of the back car since you cropped the front, crop the back one and not the front one, or don't crop any of them out. That way, it would give the impression that the cars have "rolled" into the picture, and they have somewhere to "roll" out. I hope that made sense, if not ask me after the challenge and I'll try to elaborate. |

The motif is fitting for the B&W medium. |

Wow, great find. B/W works great for this shot to give it an old time feel. All it needs is some dust/scratches. :) |

Striking composition. Maybe a bit too much sharpening. |
