I would've liked to have seen this picture in black and white and from a different angle. The white building in the background is distracting. Otherwise it's just an ordinary vacation picture.

5 - Fairly well met the Challenge in my opinion, re a photo of this in a time capsule would depict this era for future generations if, and here is the criticism; more attention to the detail, such as, (and maybe I am wrong here) that building left rear detracts in my opinion. I would like to have seen a different angle here incorporating more of the 'grandeur' of this house (if possible, dependent of course what is on the 'sides'). I think the colors of the wall/entrance and house are good, but unless those could have been emphasized and as I say a different, more dramatic angle, perhaps a b/w or sepia would have helped make this a better shot in my opinion.
