Yeah I think this should have ranked better. Perhaps the title and borders irked people. As I mentioned earlier I really liked the colors. It helps capture not only Bowie but the whole era.

shhhhh. don't tell anyone, but cloning isn't allowed in basic challenges.
The picture is exposed well. The composition, to me, is a bit static, a bit to precise. I guess people were looking for a year, and believe me, they mark down for not meeting the challenge. A large percentage would have marked you down for the border. Borders aren't generally liked in these parts. Better luck in future challenges.

Rules specify how to title an entry. As to the titel you chose - david bowine is NOT representative of the 20th century - perhaps the last 1/3 of it.

The border is TOO big. lighting is a bit dull. image overall is dark and low on contrast.

I'll have to show this to my friend who's a huge bowie fan! I can see that you are as well :)
Your shot is a bit busy but the arrangement is nice. I'm just not sure about the blue border.. I would have preferred none or black instead.
