 okay, i know probably no one will read this, but i felt like i should clarify some things anyway:
first, the title. im quite aware that its a 68 camaro, i chose 78 originally because i had entered a different outtake that included the driver, and the shot seemed like more of a late 70's shot than a late 60's shot. when i changed to this image it didn't dawn on me that 1978 wouldn't make any sense. thanks for pointing that out though.
second, the reflection. its not me in the reflection, if it had been, i wouldve deleted this shot in-camera, however, the reflection is of the driver and it was the reflection that caught my eye and made me take the photo in the first place. for some reason i never thought that the reflection could be mistaken as me (the photog), and for that i blame myself. had i known, i would've gotten this same shot without the driver in the reflection.
all in all, thank you all for you comments, there were quite helpful since i was oblivious when i entered this shot.

I thought this would finish at minimum top 20 if not top 10. Great shot and I'm not a car fanatic or anything I just thought this was one of the better entries. Good score none the less. Congrates.

Too bad your reflection had to show in the fender and bumper. Cool car, and nice angle to the image otherwise.

Cool car shot, but I think your are about a decade off. I think the '68 Camaro came with a 327. Not deducting any points because of date error. Glad to see that you followed the challenge guidelines for the title.

Shame you got the reflection of yourself in the paintwork. I would have preferred a cleaner image.

This is so close to being absolutely perfect. The crop pulls you in and the depth of field make me feel fine with not being able to see the entire car. So good job there. I notice your reflection. That to me is the only flaw. If only we could clone that out in an open challenge... Great shot!

i like this photo at first sight. clean focus, shiny classic car, taken from a good angle. you should becareful about showing your reflection tho, intentional or not (i personally prefer not). 9
