| Wow! What a great and gritty shot. As several of them seem to be looking to the left side of the frame, I would have preferred to see the group on the right side of the frame. |

Nowhere does the challenge description state that the photo has to be a year (era) other than the current one. I do hope that it is not voted down because of that.
What a bunch of characters! I especially like the kid on the far right. The stance and his expression are just great! I really like this image. bumped to 9 |

| This drew me in - I want to know more about their environment, but they don't quite feel like today's street kids to me. |

| Perhaps this would have been better in color... the boy in the front with the hat on doesnt have a face, and the boy in the back is hard to see also. Shadows are dark and with black and white that makes it very difficult to really see, nice idea though. |
