** Greetings from the Critique Club **
Technical: Focus seems a bit soft on the edges of glass sphere and on wood holder. Very good bokeh. Nice color saturation.
Composition: Glass ball seems too far away, and would be better a little more off centered. Poosibly rotating image slightly ccw would make this more interesting. Due to the sphere being so far away, it is hard to see a clear image inside the glass. Seems a bit busy in the glass ball. Try waiting until not so many people are present, and have a more interesting subject in their place.
Meeting the Challenge: I feel you did this well as it presents the viewer with an optical illusion.

Great DOF. I like the reflection in the glass. Up'd my vote, this definitely deserves a 10. |

Very well done. i would have explored the simple possibility of rotating the image. |

Nice bokeh. A little hard to figure out what the illusion is here other than just a reflection in a reflective ball, but the image is striking and plesant to view. |

You have an interesting take on the challenge and some awesome bokeh! The scene in the ball though has too much going on and doesn't hold my attention. I'm not sure what I'm supposed to be seeing...

Good reflection and illusion but the background is a bit distracting |

I like your thinking here. I think this could be made better if the inverted refraction (I think that is the correct term) isolated the main subject more and wasn't so busy. |

the old upside down in a glass ball trick.
I love the bokeh it offets an interesting background to the shot. I also would prefer a liitle more illumination on the hand |

Oooo! I like this. THe colors don't appeal to me as much, but they're better there than not (B&W). THe focus seems a bit soft on the ball and wooden "fingers?", but the overall illusion is good, and one I can understand, and I'm a big fan of that!! :) |

those don't look like fingers! Are they pieces of wood? Good illusion, nice work with background. |

The subject viewed through the ball is wonderfully sharp and clear, although maybe it would be a little better with the ball not in the centre of the frame. |

Interesting shot... colors are a little bland... maybe a touch more contrast. |

Interesting picture. I like the colors of the background, but not crazy about the image in the ball. Very busy. I think a single object would have been more appropriate and would be more visually appealing.. |

Nice bokeh (Hehe I think it's the first time I've used that word) . The image invites you to look deeper, and that's a good thing. Would be nicer if you gave the viewr something to look at in the ball that contributed to the story. |
