yeah those are them! I couldn't believe the size of them. and the big fellers figured themselves to be ninjas with their stealth...but they were...um...not.

Fantastic character! Just great.

Some strange, patterned lens abherrations in the background (I get those sometimes) that may look better being softened a touch. Does not reduce the charm of this shot though.

"Marmot", "whistle pig", "rock chuck"... Yeah, I think it's in the same family as wood chucks -- they just live in more mountainous and rocky areas.

Great shot Artyste. I've only seen a few marmots in real life and none of them were slow and fat enough for me to get a decent photo. lucky!
