tilted sink ;)
at roughly 125mm
& thanks to a neighbour who had a sink kicking around
sharpend, reduced exposure 1/6 of a stop
cropped a bit top & bottom
(would have shown more fauset but it was 'broken' and needed extensive holding to prevent water squirting all over the place ...)

Neat illusion! However, the color of the cup is quite distracting to me

A nice illusion. I wanna know how it's done. However, it's not too interesting of a shot overall. I don't have any ideas though how to make it have more pop...

great illusion, the great detractor....
This is a fun shot. I would like to see some more depth of field having all the arm in focus, but thats just me...

Love this type of illusion and great title used here. good job
08/09/2005 03:48:41 PM
How did you do that? I like this illusion!

Great shot! I'm wondering if you swung the faucet, or if the whole sink was reconfigured at an angle. Anyways, very well done.

this good, i shows

Very clever! A bit too much arm in the shot imho. Very nice execution of the concept.

Way cool! What a brilliant idea!!

Great trick. How did you do it? Lighting seems a bit harsh but doesn't ditract much from image itself.

no real idea how you did this?

very cool, though the photo is in some ways lacking this is one of the best illusions ive seen in the challenge. 8

Nice...but maybe could have been "cleaner". Not noise wise but "prop wise". For example...maybe you could have shined up the faucet and sink a bit more.

The green reflection is the water is nice

matbe not the most beautiful image, but i'm intrigued by the antigravity warter flow! cool!

I would have croped up a little more, great effect, good color!
08/08/2005 09:26:59 AM
youd die of thirst!
id like to know how this one was done..
08/08/2005 05:57:59 AM
Looks like this would be relatively simple to accomplish - until I started thinking about it. Well done!

nicely done illusion. I would have liked to see the cup held more level. The spots and drops of water on the sink, facet and cup are a little distracting. In advanced editing, these could have been carefully removed. Also, this would have looked good in B&W. 7 - mostly for the illusion.

really nicely done! I'd like to see a bit more of the forearm in focus as i find it a bit distracting, but everything else is spot on.

This would make a great photo but looks too much like a snap shot I think! The idea is fantastic though!
