Great shot of corpuscular rays!! Looking at this from a non-challenge perspective: I like it. Maybe increase saturation a wee bit and clone out the ground on the right bottom ... and maybe a wee bit bigger frame. You have a good eye for corpuscular rays! |

small size here, and there's just not much of an attention point here. 4 |

Sorry, but I can't see how this is representative of the year '2005' - It could be any year, and so wouldn't mean much in a time capsule. You've nicely captured the ray coming through the clouds though. Not too sure about having just a part of the land visible in the bottom corner like that. I'd say have the foreground visible all the way across to keep things in perspective. |

Pray tell, how does a picture of the sky evoke 2005? |

It's a nice picture but I voted most landscape pictures stating 2005 low because it was easy. the cloud looks like a dragon spewing smoke. |

I think this was a stretch and does not meet the challenge. |

the sky has been the same as far as I can remember. so your photo of a sky does not really show "2005" or any feeling of time. sorry. |

I saw a sky once just like that in 1987. |

I love the beams of light through the clouds. But, this photograph belongs in this challenge like a beautifully composed poem belongs in a corporation's annual report. There are photo competitions on the internet that allow for submitting your best photo (or a photo of your choice), however, I believe this site is prompting you to take shots that you wouldn't have otherwise by followin the description of the challenge. I hope this comment is constructive. If your photo finishes lower than you had hoped this might be the reason. I could have seen this shot with a time defining skyline. Good luck. |

I really like the sun rays. This doesn't really capture a specific era for me. |
