** Greetings from the Critique Club **

Technically this is a good shot. The bokeh is demonstrated very well. The colors are well balanced and natural looking. It does appear a little over-sharpened, and the lighting a bit harsh.
Composition is alright, but nothing that sets it apart from the average. Perhaps rotating the image 45 degrees ccw would make it more interesting.
As for meeting the challenge, there really was not much of an illusion here.

This is the head of a stalk of grain right? I'm afraid it's a macro type shot and not an illusion...

Terrific fine detail really shows of the resolution of your lens. Lighting (flash?) is a bit harsh and bokeh nice, but I find the image lacking in creativity.

Not sure I really get the illusion here, but it is an interesting shot. Does the spiderweb have anything to do with it? You've got great detail and I like the color.

Interesting picture...looks like a subject sitting on a mirror. I'm sorry...I am not understanding the illusion completely. Lighting seems a bit harsh on the subject.
