This is one flower photo that does look good in black and white because there is enough texture to pull it off. Well done. |

Very nice tonal range. The light in front of and behing the flower is a bit of a negative, IMO. There's enough going on in the flower to not need the stem and leaf bits. |

Good lighting with contrasts, detail, almost transparency. Good work with a flower, usually more suitable for color. |

Much of the image is dark and no visible, I would try lightening it up or cropping it out. I think there's too much of a shadow inside your subject (flower) as well. |
