 This statue of Leifur Eiriksson is located in my old hometown of Reykjavik, Iceland. Leifur 'The Lucky' made the journey to America one thousand years before me, and was undoubtedly faced with many a dark and ominous sky on his long sail to 'Vinland'.

Great moody shot I think you've captured the feel of the statue very well. There seems to be a little noise that could be cleaned up with a little NI... probably a side effect of a higher ISO. Good work!
