I like how this picture seems to be thinking a bit outside the box. This looks like a performance shot of some type, and I find the motion blur a little distracting. I'd recommend bumping up the iso, and/or opening your aperture up. Most performance photographer I know shoot a f/2.8 iso 800 minimum. The cropping is also a bit odd. I think cropping closer to the guy so his arm is cropped closer to his body will help. Good luck |

Nice idea. I like your "out of the box" concept, but I'm not a big fan of the fact that almost all of the photo is out of focus. Additionally, I'm not 100% certain the photo conveys love. Because these are clearly dancers (I would guess professional ones), it detracts from the concept of Love, because they do this for a living. |

Neat compositon, but, the challenge specifically called for a representation of "material wealth." Re-check the full instructions.
Mea culpa here. Changed my opinion of "Material wealth"...it doesn't have to only refer to economics. That said, I love the line and positioning within the frame. Lighting is nice...like the shadows around his musculature. Wish it were a little sharper, though. |

Can't see how this fits the challenge. |

i'm all for motion blur...but i feel this is a wee bit too much and makes the pic difficult for me to look at. i understand it was tough conditions. what would have helped the shot alot for me would have been to shift the frame to the left and to capture his hand. i think that would have made for a very interesting composition |

Material wealth?-- they don't have material anything.
Nice image - I like the lighting and the overall softness - it really says "love" --matching your title well -- doesn't speak to affluence |

It seems like a bit of a stretch on the challenge, but it's gorgeous. |

The Affluence Challenge description says, "The opposite of the poverty challenge. Knock us out with your representation of MATERIAL WEALTH." This is a cut and paste message that I will comment on all submissions that do not seem to suit the topic of the challenge. Take note I understand this maybe just my personal opinion, and as such I only deducted 1 point from my original vote. |
