Very natural and unpretentious shot. I get the feeling that she is in deep thought. The lighting on some stray strand of hair gives a really nice touch, and that soft deep green background is a perfect match.

She is a doll baby .. and my favorite kid portraits are the ones they don't know the camera is on them ... you captured the innocence in her!

Really love this portrait... it captures real life in the moment... and she's gorgeous.. beautiful eyes and the pouty lips all kids seem to have.. nice work :)

Wow - what a beautiful capture! The intensity of her stare is terrific. The image is a little dark - you might consider brightening everything a tad (but that's personal taste). Great focus/DOF/everything else!

Love the gaze she makes. I would crop more to the right to give her more room on the left so the eye of your viewer doesn't stop abruptly. Great bokeh as well.

Thanks datcat! I'm trying to get some images into my portfolio! She is the daughter of a some friends of mine! She's cute! This was just a snap in our back yard!

Beautiful portrait Neil, her eyes are so blue and what long lashes! Her eye colour makes a lovely contrast with the hair.
