Location: Tiffany & Co., 5th & Vine, Cincinnati, OH

Took a couple of shots at the Tiffany's here in Cinti. at lunchtime. No one came out with the distinctive bag, unfortunately, so I though this might make an interesting shot.

Shot in raw for 1st time, and it's a bit overwhelming with all the control. Did white balance in raw transfer, then did levels, curves, highlights/shadows, duotone, usm a couple of times & neat image... I had a whole lot of help from my highly-qualified & very-opinionated friends Tammy & Nick with the post-processing!

I preferred your shot to the blue winner. The jewels on the blue winner looked more bauble than glamour. Tiffany, on the other hand...timeless, affluent.

Congrats on the 2nd!

Wow - thanks everyone for the votes & comments. This is a shock - but it sure feels good! I hope the feeling lasts for long, cause this probably won't happen again for a while. Thanks again!

Very nice, im a big fan of selective coloring though, you might have benefitted from grayscaling only the tiffany's shop fascade and keeping the background its original color...assuming it was taking in color, which I believe it was.

Good job. Crisp photo and I appreciate the lower angle as if looking up toward something higher in class.

Nice tone in black and white, but if it didn't say Tiffany, there would be no connection to the challenge. You are letting a brand name do the work. 3

I like this, the metallic surface brings it to life. I know you can't remove the stripes on the right for the challenge, but I would remove them from the original anyway.

i like the curve of the building and the rich silver color. i do think the bottom right causes static in the composition. maybe a different angle?
