Looking through results I realised that I missed the trick here. Sorry - perhaps you could hit me over the head with an explanation next time. |

You got robbed on this one. I guess you did the purple trick so well that most people just missed it. You know this is a cool, creative shot and many people who posted comments agree, so I hope the low score doesn't bother you. Nicely done. |

Nicely composed shot, but the lighting glare is distracting. |

It took a moment to see that you had lined a blue and red crayon up with the mixed exposure to create the purple. The title helped. 5 |

ah, I get it. what a cool idea! composition is unfortunately dull, and the lighting is off, which hamper the execution of a great concept. |

Very subtle with the red and blue turning to purple. The glare on the package is a tad harsh, but with this challenge, it's probably ok. |

I think you have made a cool effect - double exposure to show a change in colors. But, it seems that your intent is lost a bit, as it looks like a purple crayon at first glance. |

The exposure needed to be longer on the red - as it is now the red only really shows up on the bottom of the image. And with all the color in the image that is not where my eyes go first. I am also not sure what the long exposure adds to the image - with two crayons sitting one in front of the other I could convey the same message - IMHO... |

the flash/light is too harsh to me |

Sorry, I am not seeing the long exposure here. The box is way over exposed and the crayons seem grainy. |

Well thought out. I didnt catch it the first time, but this is a good use of color theory. |

this really doesn't capture my attention |

appears to be overexposed. |

Very subtle but I bet your gonna get slammed for it by the voters. There is an abnormal amount of washout (hotspot) on the left side of this photo which I find very distracting. I do however like the color mix and the clarity where you can see it. Good luck in this challenge. <5> |

I think you have given yourself up (or maybe because I actually read the posts!) You have remember that not everyone reads the titles and it took me a full 5 seconds to get this one. ...although once I did I thought how clever! ok- so techincally I would have upped the saturation on the crayola box- you seem to have some glare off it. I am giving you a 7 for the idea and a +1 for those who don't read the titles! :0) |

I looked at the thumb and thought uhoh someone missed the point of the challenge, then clickd it read the title ~WELL DONE~ very clever, i like it alot - but i dont seem to have a voting scale, members only vote? oh well. Kudus for creative (and colourful) thinking anyways! |
