Hi Lenny,
Thanks for the comment. I did a little bit of color saturation on the photo but in reality the colors are just as vibrant as these, maybe a little less. :) |

Thanks for your comment. You are indeed right, it's the American Falls that I referred to as the Rainbow Falls. I was closer to the Canadian Falls (the Horseshoe) but the illumination wasn't as good as in the American Falls.

Nice picture living in Buffalo,NY most of the my younger life I knew the view right away. I do have to ask did you do a little color inhancement. I thought you might have because I don't remember the colors always being so vibrant. I also would have given it a ten had I been able to vote. I now live in Richmond Va so seeing the falls lit up my day. Best of luck.

Kudos on the exquisite framing and extraordinary attention to light in this famous shot.
One problem: the location you cite is Niagara Falls, Ontario (where you were) . . . but of course the subject as presented is entirely Niagara Falls, New York, USA.

Thank you to everyone that commented and for the generous votes it got. The illumination at night of the Rainbow Falls is better than the Horseshoe Falls which was really what I wanted to photograph. Besides, the mist from it was just too much it was almost like it was raining. Rain.... hmmmm....

This is a great image. The waterfall is so intrigueing to look at, and so are the colorful reflections in the water below. I would like to see a little more light in the sky though, and the long exposure really blew out the big yellow thing (not sure what it is because of exposure on it). |

| lol I was gonna shoot the falls for this challenge as well but figured someone would be doing it already. Like the colors and I see you've learned (or got better equipment) about the hot air balloon that looks like a moon. Very impressed this time aoun. Very crisp and sharp colors. Nice pleasing appearence and probably one of the best I've seen in this chalenge. Well done and good luck. Definately a ribbon winner in my books. <10> |

| Beautiful rainbow effect. The water is like a soft billowy sheet of color. The brightly lit circular building is almost a moon rising from the buildings. Where is this???? |
