Trying to show the lovely orange, stringy, thready patterns that butternut makes, prior to ripping out the seeds (which even look orange and glisten from the flesh). Quite like the DOF I have achieved here, to try and highlight the stringy threads more, by leaving the edges out of focus. Hope you all like it too.

Other details are no flash used, 0EV and focal length of 17.4mm (68mm? in 35mm)in Macro mode.

Great detail, though I don't find the subject particularly appealing. You have done well at capturing this. I like your application of the shallow depth of field.
