well, a bit of a stretch to meet the challenge but it is SUCH a good pic of a very pretty little girl I score it a nine anyway which groups it in my top 15 in this challenge. great framing, focus, and lighting and a super model. Good luck

this is a great picture of an absolutely adorable subject, but for the life of me i can not relate it to the affluence challenge which was required to "Knock us out with your representation of material wealth" - so, i am just leaving you this comment and refrain from voting on it at all...

VERY NICE photo, but, it doesn't represent "material wealth" and that is what the instructions specifically called for. Still, great capture!!

Forget what I said, I've had an epiphany!! I was being too literal in looking only for economic representations of material wealth. Now, I can give this gem the full points it deserves. What a wonderful expression you captured. And the lighting highlights and shadows are very nice. Also, sharp as a tack. One of the nicest people pictures I've seen.

nice happy pic - i like the "fill the frame" composition. The picture doesn't say anything to me about affluence/material wealth.

The Affluence Challenge description says, "The opposite of the poverty challenge. Knock us out with your representation of MATERIAL WEALTH." This is a cut and paste message that I will comment on all submissions that do not seem to suit the topic of the challenge. Take note I understand this maybe just my personal opinion, and as such I only deducted 1 point from my original vote.

What a beautiful child. I love the freckles...I hope she does too. This picture seems to be a little over-saturated..especially in the reds. Her face and ears look extremely sunburned and it kind of did weird things to her hair.
