Great shot! I love how most of the picture is a light grayish tone, and the shoes pop out at you.

I really like this shot. Mostly for the blue hue..a sexy red heel sticking out under (um, not on this guy, tho) would've added some ooomph but according to the scores and placement - you didn't need it.

I love how the brown shoes contrast with the rest of the shot. Excellent job, you should've been in the top 5 at least.

Thanks for all the great comments. I really wasn't sure how people would react to this image and I was please with a top-ten finish.. It is sometimes difficult to create both something that "people" in general might like as well as something that I like!

IMO, this is a blue ribbon all the way. Don't know why the dark shots keep winning, but this is fantastic.

I see a good future for this shot! The umbrella blends perfectly with the cloudy sky, and the model and railings are beautifully sharp!

Love the reailings with the feeling of some sort of puzzle adds an extra dimension. Pity the umbrella is not more defined at the edges, it almost gets lost into the background.

this is by far the best picture in this challenge. a 10 from me. i love all the blues and then the brown shoes. really good picture in my book. good luck.

Lines, circles, movement, and hidden people always make for great compositions. The leading lines of the fence to the left pointing to the umbrella help as well. Like the shot. Only improvement would be had it been a woman behind the umbrella (as in a skirt or something, as I don't picture too many men twirling umbrellas. 7

I really like this. I'll try to say why but there's a lot going on... I like that the person is standing on the very bottom edge of the photo - it's disconnected and 'floating' but feels grounded at the same time. I like how cold and crisp it feels. I like the hard solid lines and the soft blurred circle - there's a struggle there but it's playful. The structure combined with his work boots and pants made me think of an oil rig. And why would a guy be spinning an umbrella on an oil rig? I don't know but that made it intriguing. Very well done, this one of my top ranked for this challenge.

Wow, this is fantastic. It is very cool (in the temperature respect). Well done matching the umbrella up with the railings and (if on purpose) not showing a guy in blue jeans and tennis shoes. I hope this one does well!

Without the title it is very hard to see that the umbrella is moving. I like the lack of color in the photo. I find it adds a great deal more contrast and crispness to the photo. well done and good luck in this challenge. <8>

I love your imaginative take. The monochromatic theme is great with the splash of brown in the shoes. I like everything about this. It is so artfully done. 10
