A bit dark on your subject....you could ahve acheived the same "low key" lighting dramatic effect while still lighting your subject a bit more.

cool editing
i would like to see less vivid colors in some areas, like the hat... I think they draw attention away from the gritty feeling of it
overall well done and good presentation of the challenge

Looks a bit too well dressed, IMO. Was expecting him to look more grungy. Like the walls, which are amazing. My pick for top 3.
