 My usual shoot what makes itself present kinda' shot.
Kitty was just there, cleaning itself - was not a set up.
Tried to get a model release too - guess kitty was shy - ran away....

He-he...I almost had as much fun reading the post-challenge comments as I did looking at your photo! ;^)

The cat makes the picture. It stops you, makes you think am I looking in or out? The composition is cool. I think the texture of the concrete wall makes the image appear blurry in that area even though it's not. Looking at the blacks in the image you can tell the noise level is pretty low, but again, the texture inside the waiting room (wall and floor) make it appear noisier than it is. This may have contributed to a small hit in scoring.

I hope the black cat didn't run in front of you...you know, bad luck and all. ;^)

According to acronymfiner.com (I looked it up too) yes, but you failed to do your research.
According to the urbandictionary, it is the following:

1) A word used to express that something tastes good.
That ass looks good. Yum.
2) The food that makes you scream WHeeeeeee
Your Mom said Yum after she ate my peach
3) A random word that shows indifference. (In other words, you tell me about your day, I don't care but I have to say SOMETHING.. That's where yum comes in!)
