 I have observed in so cases that people can be surrounded with love, warmth, happyness, Money, Wealth and light and yet still are in the darkness.

I like the lighting on this a lot the light washing on the shoulders, showing muscle tone is affluant. The covering of the eyes makes this image universal.

This might be a little too much of a stretch for the challenge topic. Other then that though this is a GREAT shot!!!!!!! Love the lighting you used! Due to topic 7.

I too am "in the dark" on this one. Photo lacks context. It doesn't say material wealth to me - and I don't know what it does say.

The Affluence Challenge description says, "The opposite of the poverty challenge. Knock us out with your representation of MATERIAL WEALTH." This is a cut and paste message that I will comment on all submissions that do not seem to suit the topic of the challenge. Take note I understand this maybe just my personal opinion, and as such I only deducted 1 point from my original vote.

Nicely done portrait, although it is cropped a little close at the top. The lighting is nice. I'm just not sure how it meets the challenge subject.

To the disinterested observer, there doesn't seem to be a direct link to the challenge theme.
