Challenge: Tools of the Trade (Basic Editing III)
Camera: Fujifilm FinePix S5000 Z
Location: work shop in office
Date: Jul 26, 2005
Aperture: F3.2
ISO: 200
Shutter: 1/52
Galleries: Abstract
Date Uploaded: Jul 26, 2005

I use these tools for my "day job" (the way I have been doing lately in DP I better keep my day job!). I was attempting to do something a bit more playful than just show them at work.

Post editing includes:
levels
hue and sat
color balance
crop
unsharpen mask
etc.

Hey ... those tools look way too clean ?? I like the title, and like the chaos of your tools better than the ones that were all lined up.

I like the setup of this shot. One of the more original of the series of wrenches I've looked at. Color and contrast are all nice, bit on the busy side. 7

The more I look at this the more I like it bumping up. 8

Like the concept. Comp. is Ok. Lighting and reflections are a bit harsh.

The composition of this shot is well done, as is the lighting and its resulting flares and shadows. And of course, there's the title :) Well done!

I'm upping your score by a point cause I love the title. LOL It's hard not to have those hot spots on the metal. You could almost crop to that bright one in the middle left and the shot might still be as effective.

What happens when the kids come out 1/6 inch and we dont know if it was the 1/4 or the 1/8 that did it? How many more identity crises must happen before someone puts a stop to tool orgies?
