 My first entry, taken today while on vacation on the west coast of Vancouver Island. I have no skills with digital retouching. All I did was darken it a wee bit. Oh, and I rotated the image to vertical. It was taken as a vertical, but when viewed, it was sideways.

I obviously have alot to learn! Thanks for your suggestions. I will read the tutorial and post a bigger photo next time. Thanks.

image is too small. I am not sure that I agree with hat. It is very bright. IMO, the image would have been more pleasing had the hat been removed, or of a different color. 5

Great image! I like the concept and the shadow on the left. I'm sure you've heard about the size -- I'm sure that with the appropriate size (larger) you'd have done much better. I'd like to see this with the shovel & hat off to the right, showing the full shadow of the components.
