The red telephone box has become a British icon. It was designed by Giles Gilbert Scott for a competition in 1924 to find a suitable standard pattern of kiosk that might be introduced throughout Britain.

Being English, I was quite amused by this image, the wierd juxtoposition of these iconic images against a drab brick wall contains much humour and is not without artistic merit, even without the bare branches of the trees reflected in the glass this image would stand alone as a very perceptive example of good photographic practice.
