I aagree this one is better. The background is less distracting. The elephant itself is sharp and the texture is great. Shame you didn't tell him to keep his trunk still when he posed!

In looking at the two, I would agree with you SJ... The original looks too artificial... This looks much better! Much more natural, as wildlife photography (the majority) should be, IMO. :)
Great shot, love the sense of motion that this has... Great job! |

Not sure I agree that this one is better - they are both great. Elephants are such lovely animals to take pictures of. I like the way the elephant is in focus while the background is fairly insignificant. Good job!
