 found this cute little house in the woods its falling a part so it looks like its taken with a fish eye lens, I thought it looked kinda abstract like this so I decided to call it fairy land, dont know if it looks like one though :p
went out tonight just to try to find something for this challenge, long time since I did that but it was fun ofcourse, it was very foggy but you cant tell from there I was standing in the woods and it ended soon behind the house so the most light is coming from there.

To me art must evoke an emotional response. Large or small, happy or sad. I get such a response from Fairyland. Nice shot, good burn/vinyetting. Very framable. Cute? A little formidable maybe, almost a witch's hovel. I almost expect the hut to 'breathe'.

looks over sharpened, but i think the sharpening and the rest of the detail and coloring lends itself quite well to the fairy tale feeling of it. good shot and congrats on the blue!

This looks like a painting. You have some marvelous work and are well reconized for that here. This is just one awesome piece of work and looks very Fairy Talish. Great work again from a great photographer. And please post your steps so we can all start winning ribbons.

That is some of the best processing I have ever seen. There is an amazing, illustrative, dream like quality to this shot. I almost expect red riding hood to come running frantically out of the hut.

Before I even saw your title, my first thought when I saw this was that it looks like an illustration in a fairy tale. This is so interesting, and I love the high-contrast and the color tones. It's one of my favorites! Good luck!! 10

There's always a fine balance to be struck in the processing of such images - to maintain the feel of the photographic, and yet to approach the painterly. I think you get pretty close to that line, and yet remain on the right side of it. The vignetting is perhaps a touch strong, yet believable. Technical processing is good - great sense of detail and texture.

I really like the lighting in this picture and the dreamy"ness" of it. The left side of the picture is neat with the walkway disappearing behind the little wooden shed. The right side, however, is dark and cluttered. I would have liked to see the right side cropped out because I feel it doesn't positively add to the shot. 6
