Liked this and gave it a 7. I liked the glass with the 'happening of its reflections', also liked the hugging/leaning shadow with the 'sun'. Like the shadow pattern on the table cloth. What i didn't care for so much, was the shadows on the background next to the wineglass shadow that reads like 'dirt', also the main glass seemed to lack a certain smoothness (Kavey called that jaggedness and she also has a point about the liquid sitting there at an angle to which my mind said 'hoho, no'.
Read your details on the light, distance and timing, and will experiment with that at some point.
Anyway, creative effort - keep it up!

rim and stem base a tad over processed, but I love the shadow and the glint of light in it. Makes the shadow seem more "alive" than the glass itself. |

I like the idea and colours of this shot a lot.
The shape of the sun at the top of the shadow is wonderful.
Main problems in the image for me:
The liquid is not horizontal within the glass.
The surface that the glass is on is kind of distracting - would it work to have a seamless curved white backdrop on which both the glass and it's shadow could be positioned?
Would like the negative space around the glass and shadow to be more even at top, bottom, left and right.
I'm also seeing some jagged areas - particulary around the stem of the glass.
Again, I do like the colour and lighting here very much but think that some minor changes would improve it further.

Interesting how you got the shadow and the reflection of the liquid together like that. The picture looks slightly tilted to the left. I imagine that you had to do it that way to get the effect. |

Kind of amazing that the shadow could be so dark... I wish the glass were in sharper focus, and that the liquid were level. |

I can almost hear thekiss when looking at the sun spot on the left. Great picture. Seems a bit fuzzy on the bottom half of the glass though. |

I like it. I would LOVE it if your platform didn't drop off at tthe left, and if it blended with the backdrop better. |
