 Three glass crystal chicks, that my brother, sister and I gave to my Mother for Mothers Day many years ago. Telephoto, Macro shot to reduce the DoF. Taken in my dining room with some extra desk Lamps. I found that the flash gave some extra highlights. I couldn't get the rainbow effect that I had pictured in my mind...

Used PS7 to crop and adjust the blue Saturation.
Used Neat Image to depeckle and sharpen.
Added the white boarder.

this is a good idea, however, i may have tried to focus on all three glass birds in order to make a sharper image, 4

I'm afraid the shallow depth of field doesn't work for me on this one.

cool focus trick
I would have liked it more if the birds had more space between them so I could see the one in the center better.
That way it might not have been so bussy.

interesting perspective. i like your choice of backdrop/surface...the wee birds really pick up the blues. good job.

I am not sure what a different depth of field would have given? The subject however is very colourful.

Could use more depth of field, I think. This might work better if it were one of the end birds in focus, rather than the middle one.

The Dof is not good enough, otherwise it could have been a much better picture.
