First time photographing glass. I set up a makeshift home studio and tried different shutter speeds, metering and exposure values.

the glass looks nice, but the picture itself is not very creative..the clarity is very nice also

Vases are positioned well. I assume the background was intended to be white. Looks like you could set the white balance for the lighting or use the post processing to make it white ( in levels). I downloaded this and set the background to white. It really stands out.

Good job! The choice of objects works great in this composition. You also did a good job with the lighting. I would have showed a bit more of the reflection, or...maybe not. Anyway, welldone!

FAntastic set of props. I guess they are standing on glass but what did you use as a backdrop? How come I can't see the join between base and side? Is this a photoshop trick/ if not how can I achieve this as I really think it is good and makes a powerful forground even stronger.

I like the shape of the green vase. I'm not sure why you chose to set the vases on a reflective surface but then cut off the reflections. The image is a little too dark for my liking. Using a white background would have brought out the colours of the vases more.
