Choice capture! How many glasses did you have to break to get a decent shot? I wanted to do something like this too but my wife wouldn't let me near the glass cabinet :-) Your image is good, the black and white works well. I would have chosen a different angle on the shot without the power lines in the background. |

Hmm, shutter speed could have been faster perhaps to sharpen the effect. Nice idea - the bottle works with the colours and background. |

I like the sepia and background. Maybe a faster shutter speed would have froze it better, but this sort of shot is never easy.7 |

Creative approach to the challenge! (How many times did you have to drop something to capture it just right?). I like the background and the desaturated colors, but it's a pity the powerlines in the distance are still there... just a bit too distracting. --8 |

Great timing - I can't wait to hear how many attempts this took. The background provides some interest as well. Good work. |

i thought there would be 100 of these, but after 200 votes this is only the second. nice capture of a very difficult subject (unless you have a LOT of glasses). i hope you enjoyed the pint first. BW a good choice, and the long lens was also a good choice - much higher DOD :) |

Flott mynd, glasið mætti vera skarpara. Hvað fórstu með mörg glös, og hvar var þetta tekið? |

Challenging idea. (Thought about trying it myself, but wasn't motivated enough...) Pretty good job of stopping the motion, but the focus isn't real clear, probably due to the shallow DOF. The lighting doesn't help either. The monotone treatment - it's OK, but not real striking. Good try, results aren't too bad. |
