i feel that while this shows texture, thats it -- not an overall good pic that grabs or holds my interest

This definitely shows texture, but there's not really much here to capture the viewer's interest, in my opinion. I would like to have seen what makes *this* piece of wood unique. Why is it any better or different than any other piece of wood? Nice choice of frame. 6
